Mavericks have built in "Maverick money detectors" (MMD)...
I have yet to find a mechanic who is willing to locate and or remove it...
It is most prolific in Mav's that have had neglectful owners in their past BUT with some preventaive maintainace they are the easiest car to work on...
(Hell, I'm a begining shade tree mechanic and I'm getting to most useful knowlage from my cars... it's because everything is easily accessable!)
Just take care of it, keep minor problems from becoming major headaches and you'll find it to be an incredibly reliable car!
