:your's is a good tranny, just a few mods were made in later years. Keep with the one that you have, everything fits and it's the orginal one, big points for the in years to come. If you do take it to a tranny shop, mark it so you get "your's" back and not one they have on the shelf. Seen that before. That way all your numbers will still match up to the build date of the car.

I have a 67 c-4 in my mav that needs a rebuild. I've heard that the early C-4 have better internals. IF this is true can I still get parts for it. Would I be better off getting mine rebuilt? or buying a rebuilt one off the shelf?
