I know what you are all thinking , my car is just falling apart. My problem seems to be the drivability , my car is getting very bad gas milage. On an avarage between city and highway my car gets 13.5 miles per gallon. My engine has about 700 miles on it and I thought that it should be freeing up and getting fairly good milage about now. Here is my set-up and please let me know what you think, and if any of these things could be causing my milage problem.Rear gears are 3.00:1 , C4 automatic trans., 302 (stock bore/stroke), cam: lift-.424 int. , .448 exh., Dur.-260 int., 270 exh., carb. is a 600cfm Holley (this is what I believe is the prob. , let me know what you think) this carb is off of a 75 F-250 that had a 390.I can't get any info for this carb but is it possible that the jets are too big?And the carb. seems to be running really rich but I have leaned it out as much as possible without the car sputtering or stalling.I am also running headers and Edlebrock Alum. intake.I also have a problem with the carbs throttle shaft, it doesn't have the kickdown pin , so I am running without a kick down, is that possibly my prob.?And finally , my secondaries don't seem to be openning , and it seems to have a low end bog, what are the possible causes?Sorry for all the questions. Thanks in advance
