: I was looking at a 1973 Maverick brochure yesterday, and I noticed the Aluminum wheels option. This was new for 1973. The wheel in the picture has 4-lugs. All 1973 Mavericks had 5-lugs, so it must be a Pinto wheel, except it has a Maverick center. Preproduction, I guess. Maybe I am strange but I find this stuff interesting. In the 1974 Brochure, the wheel has 5-lugs, obviously drawn-on. -CP
