:good with the Hedman headers, Hooker is good just to costly. For a cable shifter look to the 82 plus Stang, junkyard item, they use the cable shifter as does the Fairmont/Zephyrs. You need the whole thing form handle to trans lever.
One of the big things about cable shifters is they usually shift in the reverse direction from a column shifter. Just check it and make sure. it's still a workable swapout.
best bang for the buck, right now, I'm going between Hooker and Heddman, around $100. longtubes, that will hopefully work with my existing column shifter(C4) or any ideas on swapping to a cable linkage.
