The reason I know is from the Holladner interchange manual, I have looked into it and verified, here is a picture of a 1974 brake assembly, I have compared it to a 1977 Mustang II and the calipers look the same, of course the rotors are 5-lug. Give me some feedback if you see it differently, I would like a little more proof -CP
