: : you may have not gotten the cable contorl adjusted right or the blend door that controls the heat isn't working right. also the air between the column and side is probably from the vent not closed all the way. Might have some junk in it.

: THIS IS THE SECOND POST FORGIVE ME IF BOTH SHOW UP....kae
: : I have a 69 1/2 Mav with a 3 on the colum,170 No a/c No Power anything. While I had the engine out rebuilding it I pulled the heater box out and cleaned everything up, checked it for leaks which it did not have and put it back together...Had good heat....Pulled it all back out later because the heater hoses like an idiot I did not replace and you cant get them out since the hoses connect under the dash instead of thur the firewall, replaced the hoses and now hardley any heat.. I know when I close the passenger vent so it wont blow thru on my feet I get a lot of air thru the defrost vent without the blower motor running and both hoses pump side and return side are very hot but air coming out of vent is luke warm at best even after taking out thermostat and putting 195 degree one in. My best guess is I forgot a door or something but I am open for suggestions before I pull all this back out again. Any suggestions out there. Also I notice along the drivers side above the steering colum cold air coming thru between steering colum and drivers side of car. I dont think its related but I believe its coming in to high up to be around the fuse box area????

: : Thanks for any suggestions
