Removing the glass is easy if your going to put new rubber in. Take a new sharp utility knife & slide it between the glass & gasket & cut the outer edge of the gasket off. You will see the edge of the glass when it is cut off. Once you get it cut all the way around it will come right out. Getting the chrome strips off is tricky & should be done by a professional if you've never done it.
