Doing mine right now. The OLD Cyclone headers that I have had for ten years didn't need the motor raised. Though it would have helped!!!!
: I was wanting to know if anyone out there has put headers on a 1973 302 Maverick? If you have did you need to lift the engine to put the headers on? I am strugling right now getting the manifolds out I have all the bolts out and it looks like they will drop out once I have the original exhaust sysytem cut out. Any help woulf d be appreciated.
