It does weigh less. I read that article, but the car wasn't complete because he was having to get a custom intake since the intake is so tall (the car had no hood). Also he had to get a custom chip done. $$$$$$. The 5.4L is lighter than the V10, though -CP

: also, I've read info about a guy that dropped one in his 96-98 GT, he reprogrammed the computer and made headers for it and got somewhere around 400hp out of it... lots of potential there...
