I'm cuurently in the process of trying to acquire a solid running, rust-free (ain't CA great?!)'71 Comet w/250/AT/AC...the owner wants $775 but the interior is rough, tires are worn out, front end is SHOT (including a bent strut rod) plus it needs a new exhaust system including manifold gasket,etc...I counter offered w/$500 (after pointing out all the "flaws")and gave him my number and said call me before you junk it! ;-)
