Well, I must say I hated my drum brakes, but now it stops great, even with manual brakes -CP

I LOVED the power brakes!! With the power steering and Power brakes, it was well ahead in drivability compared to driving my 70 grabber with manual steering and drums. I will get everything rebuilt and put on my 72 and see how it all works out.

: : When I bought my '76 Maverick, I thought there was something wrong with the brakes, at least in comparison to my '77 Comet--it stops much easier. (Both have front disc). As it turns out, there is nothing wrong with the Maverick--It doesn't have power brakes and the Comet does! -Doug
