You `d better listen to Charlie. I have test fitted a cleveland block into a Mav.and it is a TIGHT fit. You will need to cut the shock towersand have steel plates welded in to make clearance. I have seen a Mav with this done to it with a 351 Cleveland installed, and it was cool but the guy had spent alot of money to have the towers done and his cars 1/4/ mile times were no better than they could have been with a 302/351w set up. Any way the company that makes the 351c into Maverick Headers (place were other companies get them) is :
Total Performance 44020 Groesbeck Hwy.
Mt. Clemons,Mi.48043 Ph. (734)468-3673 : Who makes a good header for this swap (4 barrel heads) and what oil pan and motor mounts do I use.
: Thanks for any information.
