: I have a '76 Maverick that has a 250 CID 3 speed. I'm getting a SB C-6 trans that I'd like to install in my Maverick. I have the trans lines from a C-4 and a automatic trans crossmember from a C-4. I'm going to use a B & M cable shifter. I also have a radiator that has the cooler already in it.
: Will I have any problems doing this swap? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks! Mikw

:Bellhousing hits floor board. Drive shaft will have to be shortened. C6 weighs about 70lbs more than C4. A well built C4 with maybe a shift kit will do just fine behind the 6 holer. If you want a little more kick, change rear end gear ratio to 3. something? Need another 250? I got one that was running when swapped for the 302.
