: Well...i meant warm meaning it idles at normal idle rather than fast idle...but the thermostat seems to be working properly as i don't get heat until after the car warms up (idle speed drops)...it's the same thermostat...it just seems like the fast idle is staying on a lot longer than it should be...

: : Warm meaning heat?? Since you changed manifold you probably used a different thermostat?? Possibly you put in too warm of one? Or maybe the one you used is not closing? Or (hope not) maybe you forgot to put in thermostat at all. (happened to me once ) I use a 160 degree stat all year. Dan
