I'd say the sending unit/float (or what ever you want to call it) is bad
in the tank. The same thing happened to me twice. I have had two
Maveirck's senders go bad on me. I just went to the dealer and got a
new one. It easy to replace just make sure ya don't make any sparks...
hee hee hee. As far as the actual guage going bad, I have never owned
Maverickthat has had one bad. But you never know.
