Just a quick judgement call as i put my c4 tranny back together here....i've got a straight six that i'll be swapping up to a "clevor" v8 soon, but for now i've got the tranny apart and a six...should i bother with a shift kit for it now? or should i just wait till i get the v8 in?
Speaking of which, i have a 69.5 mav, the first year...apparently it has the "1970 Falcon C4"...a little different than the 1970 C4 (possibly still a '69 tranny?)...the main difference is the valve body...is this true for the mavericks, or did someone swap in something else here?
