The tony branda catalog has a nice page on how to lay out the strips.
From the front, the valance stripes are 9 1/4" wide, the hood tapers from 9 1/4" to 10 1/2" at the cowl, the roof begins with 10 1/2" an ends at 10 3/8" at the rear glass. The lower glass starts with 10 1/8" and ends at 10" at the bottom of the valance. The distance between stripes is 2" all the way.
This is for the 65 stang, but I imagin it would be similar on a Mav, good luck, it should look good!
