nope. a 351 is taller, wider , and heavier than a 302 block

to each his own i guess; i would seriously recommend you go the "practical route", if you dont have deep pockets or mechanical knowledge.
"the practical route" is go with a 302. it takes most of your guesswork, necessary customization, and expense away.
whereas a 351W would be stronger, id like to remind you that a 302 can easily be made very potent, too.
