the big problem is the cowling drain gets plugged up. If you can find a airhose, use that to blow it out from both the inside and the cowling. The drain comes out inside the fender and is the problem for all the rust. Gets pluged up and then water just sets there. The best way is to take the fender off, or unbolt it at the door end just enough to get at the drain. Just like the Mustang problem you read about all the time. Not one of Fords better "Ideas".


: After some years under the pine trees my Mav has consumed lots of pine needles. Anyone have any neat tricks on how to clean under the cowl, without taking out the dash.
