You have a classic car in MINT condition. Restoration is not easy for any model and can run into bucks.
Enjoy your find the way it is!
If you want to work on something, get a two door that was someone's 'project' they didn't finish.
You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a cheap 2 door.
: : I just purchased a 1971 4-door Maverick. It is MINT. 40,000 original miles, absolutely no rust, body tight, 200 straight 6, interior perfect, I can't say enough about the condition of this car! It's never been touched and ALL parts are original.
: : Now, my question is whether to keep it as is or remove the bench seats and install buckets, replace the original rims with aftermarkets, repaint (paint is now dark green and immaculate), replace the interior (which is now original greenish gold and perfect), etc.
: : This is my dilemma. I love the look of an old car that looks new, but I also like the "extras" that can be added.
