i'll be using the ribbed belt and pulleys, but not in a serpentine setup. the way i saw it on a crown vic in the junkyard was that there were two belts. one for AC and i think smogpump. and the other for alt., waterpump and Powersteering. i think i'll go back out in a bit to the junkyard and try to find one of these cars to take a better look.
i'll be using a crown vic water pump so i'll have the correct pump rotation. as for the Powersteering pump, i'll have to doublecheck that one. i was hoping to avoid the changing of all those parts (valve, cylinder, etc.)
any idea how i can find out the pressure rating on the two pumps?
thanks
inshan

: You might have problems either way you go. is your new setup going to use a serpentine belt? If so will your pump be turned in the right direction. The newer pump might have too much PSI for your old system. Compare the two. I would use the new pump and MC and prop valve. but you are adding duckies to the picture.
