the trans ratios are different, between autos and standard trans. The rearend gears are all the same. Just depends on what was installed at the factory as per order request, (dealer or new owner). Mavericks/Comets had very few options in this dept. The Mustang II rearend is the same as far as the third member goes. The only difference you may find is the actual axle lengths due to car width. Same spline thou.
