How much of this piece is really bad? If it just the top portion, then just cut out that piece and replace it. There is no need to replace the entire panel if just a little bit is rusted. Now, if the battery tray area is rusted...that might be a different story. If it is really bad, you might want to take it to a shoip and have it done...especially if you have no experience in this area.

: Due to rust and collision damage, I need to cut out a piece of sheet-metal & replace it with metal from a donor car. It's the engine-bay panel that spans between the passenger-side shock tower and the radiator support (where the solenoid switch is mounted). Can someone tell me what is the best hardware setup for cutting and grinding heavy-guage sheet-metal? I need to do this with as little damage to the surrounding panels as possible. Thanks in advance for the advice.
