Well TL I lost one rod, piston, crank and block. I some how put the bottom end of my number 4-rod right thew by block. Part of it was actually sticking out of the block, twisted my crank and cracks my number 3 main cap. And I did all this just because some guy I work with wanted to race me and I was having too much fun to quit after I beat him. I hadn’t race since I build my motor fall of 98 I just like driving my car; I love the mav body style. I haven’t been able to find another boss or motorsport block that I can afford, so I’m going to get a stud girdle for the bottom end of my Mexico block. Trick Flow makes one, this isn’t has strong as a 4 bolt main but is much better then just a two bolt. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks
Terry

: : Has anyone tried 65-66 Shelbys traction bars? They look like they would work, but I don't want to buy a set and find that they won't.
: : I don't have anything better to work on this weekend, I couldn't find a 4 bolt main block so I'm going to use a mex 302 block for my rebuild. I trashed my boss block last week racing, but should be back up and running in a week or two. Any help on the traction bar would be nice.
: : Thanks in advance
