You sure this was to an Oz 250. I have an article somewhere of Ak Miller fitting a 351C V8 4V head to a 250. He welded another 2 chambers to a V8 head. That WAS a neat head. The crossflow was made in the early 80's.

I was thinking of sending an alloy non OHC but could easily send both if of any use. If you have any members in Virginia that could pick them up etc and maybe onforward to someone who could check into it let me know. There are thousands of these heads available so supply would not be a problem.

I think the triple webber and manifold setup went for $US350 and I have no idea what they cost, but given it was a rare setup for a 250 2V it seemed ok to me.

: ...The non-OHC will fit. It has been done in the past by on old racer name Ak Miller, the guy is a legend. I got your pix way back when you posted them on your site. The only issue I saw was the coolant holes in the head don't match the US block. That's a fairly easy fix. Weber's would be awesome - what was he askin? ;-)

: : To those that contacted me about the Oz 250 crossflow heads sometime ago.

: : Although these heads are designed to fit a Oz recast 250 block, which I emailed pics of etc, someone might like to give this closer examination, to determine whether it could be possible to fit them after modifications etc. I doubt they will but you never know!!

: : Heres the deal. Sometime in the next 2 months I will be shipping a crate of Oz 4WD stuff to a guy in Virginia. Its possible I could locate a alloy 250 crossflow for "nothing" (eg unusable) and it could be put in the crate. You can then use it as a model to check this out etc. You pay the guy say $20 your end for shipping but you would have to collect it.

: : So if anyones interested in checking this and live in or close to Glen Allen, Virginia, email me.

: : As a point of interest I also advised about our early Oz 250 2V head and sent pics etc. On Sunday a guy advertised a complete set of sidedraft webbers and manifold to suit this head. That would have looked neat. Theres also a guy just advertised a complete running 2V engine for $500.
