Purolater is the best, they make Motorcraft filters. They also make most Mopar filters. Basically, anything but Fram is good. Fram uses a lot less filtering media than others, and Fram uses carboard retainers at the ends of the element, while every other maker uses tin or steel. You know what cardboard does when it gets oily, it breaks down. The best filters are Purolater PureONE or Mobil 1 filters, but they are more expensive. I just use a Motorcraft. By the way, Fram makes Pennzoil, Quaker State, and some other off-brand filters. -CP
: : This is an interesting site. It confirms what I and many others have known for a few years- Fram filters are trash. Check it out. It mostly unbiased facts.
