Yeah, that's the LAST thing I want... I did talk to him on the phone a moth ago and I told him Very firmly but politely that I had no more cash to give him. I told him that all of my moey was tied up in the car that I had to buy just to get around (I was more polite than this implies... I'm just *sigk* at the moment... day after school's out)
He said he would have to pay the guy soon BUT the assistant is still doing the work. I have offered compramizes (sp) such as recruiting free help, offers of giving him a part of the sale price of my other Mav when it gets sold, even to go as far as trading my current car for the labor ONCE it's completed.
Right now, I'm hoping that my "next step" (posted somewhere below) will grant us both an out with no hard feelings...
