Make sure that the wire from the distributer is on the netative (-) side
of the coil, and the wire from the ingition switch is on the positive side.
If you have 12V to the coil, and the ground is good, check the coil wire
and see if it is ok. Check the terminals and especially the distributor cap
for corrosion or breakage. If the voltage is there, also check the module.
I had a '77, and the module went bad on me a few times. It would cut off
and not start at all. Hope this helps, Earl
