: found a non ho 85 302 auto but owner said find a C4, all 302's use same
: bellhousings 70-80's? has a new cam not installed but 302 firing order,
: don't the newer 302's have a 351w firing order? what about column auto
: shift linkage this car is all gone, put in a floor shift auto?
: need a dual hump trans hump crossmember.
: please email back if you can help.

: The C4 bellhousings you refer to are all the same bolt pattern but there are two different diameters inside to accomidate either a small flexplate with 157 teeth or a larger 164 tooth flexplate. Also there are two different torque converters, a 24 spline and a 26 spline, also one has a 10 1/2 bolt pattern and the other is 11 7/16 pattern. Just a matter of matching everything up. The cam you have will work in your engine but be sure to wire the distributor for the 302 firing order not 351W as are the late models. Can't help on the crossmember, I modify the single humps to make headers and pipes work, easy to do if you have torch and welder.
