: yes there is, if you can get a 9/16" deep socket on the bottom bolts it's a 8". Also check the tag. it'll say 8 on it. Don't forget the V-6 Pintos & Mustang IIs they had them also. Don't get a 67 or older one. Thye have the weak center section.

im only going to see the carrier,the guy says its an 8in posi from a 78 mustang.i need to know how to tell if its a posi,and how to tell if its an 8 or a 9in carrier. thanks, mcmav
