A posi unit has thick webbing around the bolts that attach the ring gear. A non-posi has a flat surface. In other words, the posi bolts will be 'frenched' while the non-posi bolts are not. -CP
: im going to look at an 8in. posi pumpkin,i need to know if the are any specific visual or measurable differances to help me determine if it is really is an 8in.posi. thanks mcmav.
