Get underneath the car and remove the line from the tank. It should siphon most of the old gas out (you might want to attach a lentgh of fuel line to the the tank's outlet). Then buy some really good gas treatment and 93 octane and fill it up. Gas goes bad faster with a low tank than a full one. -CP


: I need to find out the best way to drain and flush my gas tank and fuel lines, preferably without removing the tank(???) The guy that I got the car from said it runs, but the last inspection sticker on it says 1989, and I don't want to try to run it on 11-year-old gas. When you take the gas cap off it smells like a combination of Vicks Vap-o-rub and horse piss, so I don't imagine that would be good for an engine. Any help would be appreciated.
