Craig, isn't it just the seat tracks that are different on the cars with a cat? I thought the seat frame itself was common... Couldn't he just put the '71 style tracks on the newer seats? I'm just asking because I can't rememeber...

: Yes, I would get them if I were you.

: They won't exactly fit a 1971 because of the hump in the floor for the catalytic converter on a 1976. But they are still worth getting just to have them and maybe sell to somebody else.

: : went to the boneyard today, where a few mavericks were resting,and found a set of buckets outta 76 mav.blue in color but in good shape.can be had for $60.00 pair.my question is, how hard are they to recover?can i do this myselfor should i have an interior shop do them?where can i get new black covers?or will they have to be custom?also, will they fit in my 71, with bench seat?thanks
