the intake on the 250 head is part of the head. it is one cast piece, but recently in australia they recast the head of the 250 to have a seperate intake and it can recieve a 2bbl. there was someone on this board that was able to get them from ford oz in australia and it was like 300 for the engine and 300 for shipping to the east coast if its still available. good luck
