Thanx for the info, the car is a 78 Versailles, 302, in good shape bt unning rough. The asking price is $900 so its a bit high for my goals. I plan on putting the 9" and rear brakes on my 65 Stang, and the front brakes on my 72 maverick, so I can reuse my drum brake spindles(is there a difference between drum and disc spindles?) to retain the Mav lower ball joint, or use the Versailles spindle and larger lower ball joint? Is the 302 anything special, being a late 70's car it has all of the smog junk for sure. Im going to look at it later tonight, so hopefully I can get him down a bit on the price(maybe $650). Sure would hate to pay more for the parts car than what I am working on!
