What I ment was the Hi-Po 289 was still around in 67 , no not available in every model but still around.But thnx for the info, as far as an I-6 goes for a Cougar , V8 was standard in the Cougar (I6 wasn't available).So I guess I just screwed myself last message by saying anything in the Mustang was in the Cougar.
