I believe water has gotten into my '73 mavs fuel tank and it rusted. I took the tank out of a '77 I was
parting out. I know they are different tanks and it looks like it would interfere with the rear
valence panel. If I fix that problem by flexing the panel enough could I install it? Can I use
the '73 tank straps? I didn't keep the '77's straps. How about the sending unit? should I
reuse the old one or use the 77's? Will the guage still read right?
