Keep in mind that that rearend only has 2.50:1 gears and will drastically slow your car down (although top-speed will be incredible)until you install a different ring & pinion or differend third-member altogether. I don't think it's a limited-slip diff. either...
: I'm sure that this has been covered before but I'm new here and haven't seen it. I have the opportunity to buy a Versailles rear end this weekend for $250, I think that's a good price but I have nothing to base that on. The little I have been able to find about this swap makes it look harder than I want to get into as I'm not a mechanic. However I would like the benefits of a 9" rear and disc brakes. Has anyone done this to there car, if so what am I really getting into? Feel free to send me any direct messages. Thanks.
