Well, since I haven't been able to locate another Maverick in my area, I picked up a '70 LTD. It's a decent car, but with the 429 as you can imagine, it's a little hard on gas. I find my self unable to drive it on those long highway trips home at the recommended 50-60mph cruising speeds, but with the recent hike in gas prices, I can't afford to go any faster and sacrifice the extra fuel. Anyway... my question is, was there ever a Ford with a 429/460 AOD combo... if not does anyone make a tranny case or complete AOD transmission that bolts on the BB Ford motors???
