Went to change the distributer cap, roter, plugs, thermostat and hoses today. Did the cap and roter no prob. started to change the plugs when I realized that I didn't have the extention for the ratchet (It's in Alice). Fine, next project, hoses. Can't get the new ones on (don't have the strenght to get them over the lip. Put old one back. Remove thermostat, it's really crappy. Replace and pour in anti freeze. Reatatch everything else, Back is killing me.
Add fluid and start car... brand new fluid leaks out of the bottem of thermostat housing AND at the top of the hose. Get Royaly PO'd and quit for the day....
*sigh*
Going to try thermostat again tommorow after I get a new gasket and an extention then drive it to a friends place to have points gapped.
