: : : hey guyz, i had to take my dash ( the lower portion anyway) off a couple weeks ago to replace my heater motor. I ran into what i thought was a very odd problem. There was about 15 screws right, but there was like 4 different styles. Was it meant to be this way? i'm thinking no. And what size/type/whatever screw is meant to be there. I have my dash off now and i would like to get all the same type screw (if possible) for easier maintenance. Thanks. Jason

: : I think Ford just didn't take that into consideration. Just about all areas of the Ford cars have this same problem. I have 1/2, 9/16, and 5/8 inch bolt heads for the water pump alone on my 289.

I just used phillips screws with large flat surfaces. That's for the lower dash panel. There is about 15-20 of them. Can get them from the help section at the loco parts store.
