It depends. A grill with no lights in it was either grey or black. The black ones came on only the 1970 Grabber and the 1972 Sprint. If it has a grill emblem in the center...then it didn't come with lights.
If it does have lights, then the black grills were a lot more common.

: So why is that one going so cheap, and the other one went for over a $100 a month or so ago? I scored a perfect grill with a better emblem than the one for sale right now for $10!! Is a black grill automaticly a grabber grill, or are there different color 70-72 grills on regular mavericks?
