So far this has happened to me twice at the same place under the same circumstances. After driving the car about 10 miles and approaching a very small rise the car starts to sputter like it is out of gas and then dies. I am able to restart it immediately but when I put it in gear and give it gas it dies again. Last night I was able to make it limp the last few blocks home. It will run just fine in 'Park' but when I put it in gear it sputters and dies.
The car is a 74 302 w/c-4.
Any ideas? I'm thinking vacuum related.
