others did with a TV rod vice the TV cable. Internals didn't start getting good on AOD until around 1988 on all of them.

I do know they were the only carburated Motor that came Factory with an AOD with the good ineternals on the Transmission. AKA easy swap into any car. :) What I am not sure of if it is a roller motor or not. Any info would be as always appreciated.
