Whilest I was getting screwed by the mall ($20 for the lower half of an air cleaner housing!) I noticed that the Mav that so generously gave it up had " F O R D" across the hood same as on the back of the later mav's...
Looked more like a comet hood to me... Aren't the later hoods a bit longer in the front?
