: : I am currently rebuilding my 71 mav with clifford perf. parts. i am interested in hearing from anyone who has used their parts. i cant wait to get it finished to see how she will run.

Back in 1996, I had an exhaust leak aound the number 5 and 6 cylinders of my inline 200 six '69 Mustang. When we removed the manifold, we fold that it had several hair-line cracks. I found that a replacement stock manifold was more expensive than a Clifford header, so I went with the header and dual exhaust. The engine sounds great and has a little extra kick to it. Let me know what intake parts you use, and how they work out. I would suggest repalcing your points with a Pertronix Ignition and a hotter coil. I recently changed to the Pertronix Ignition and 40,000 volt coil, and my pony is running better than ever. Good luck with you project.
