No, it doesn't control the timing of the spark. You still need a distributor. The MSD 6A box makes: 1) the spark occur faster (larger voltage spike), and 2) last longer. In addition to a distributor, you'll also need a good ignition coil. The distributorless set-up would be a "crank trigger" system. By the way, the 6 AL box with a Blaster 2 coil and an MSD 8552 distributor is a real good combination.

So does someone sell a distributorless ignition to work in conjuction with the MSD module? Does anybody sell Fuel injection that combines all of it for an inline?
