: im looking for a gas tank to fit...in good shape with no rust a must...im in north carolina, but willing to travel a little....email me if you can help...

I just bought a new tank for my 77 in november for $129 cdn. And I had it in my hands at 5pm that same day!
It is well worth the money to go new; Texas tanks aren't all they're cracked up to be. Better get your sending unit looked at and rebuilt too.

Let me know if you can't buy a new tank where you are and I'll check with the place I got mine.

The only thing is though, mine is a 77 (not part of the floor) and was actually labeled as a Granada/Versailles tank.
If you can't locate a tank this may be why, yours is part of the trunk floor, right?

Hope I can help a bit.

Paul
