:the 3.8 flywheel is all wrong, don't use it. Was in Dallas two weeks ago, the town leaves allot to be desired. Actually a Ford dealership might be able to help you. And I've found some machine shops that have the flywheel interchange info. If all else fails check the yellow pages for a engine balancing shop in Dallas and call them. If they don't know they might be able to steer you in the right direction.

Thanks for the help guys.believe it or not no wrecking yard knows anything in Dallas area about Fords. I HAVE 67'289 bellhousing and, flywheel is 15 1/2 inch diameter on 85' 302.What year flywheels are approx.14 inch and counter ballanced for light crank? Hollanders interchange was not any help.Is standard 85 up 302 flywheel 14 inches or 15 1/2 like the one I have?I have 289 flywheel it is 14 inches, but not right ballanced.skatter shield is too expensive right now,I can get a flywheel for 25$.I have 3.8 late model flywheel,is it ballanced the same as 302?
